Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue E. Taylor Aunjanue E. Taylor, an American stage actress and producer, is known for playing in the feature film Ray Undercover Brother as well as in The Mentalist. She graduated with the B.A. in African-American Studies, from Brown University. Her MFA is in acting from Tisch School of Acting at New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is an actor, producer and American actor active in the theatre, television and film. Her career in acting began at the theatre. She then appeared in numerous television shows as well as independent and mainstream film. Her most famous role was Miranda Shaw in ABC's Quantico as well as on BET's epic series The Book of Negroes. For both of these roles she received critical acclaim and a variety of nominations and awards, including the Television Critics Choice Award for the Best Actress. Her career began acting in 1995 as Ariel as Ariel in The Tempest. Alongside Broadway's Come and Gone, she also has credits for Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. With regards to her work in the film industry Her most well-known roles are Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. Also, she is well-known for her character on ABC's crime drama High Incident.
