Andrea Joy Cook, also known as A.J. Cook is an established Canadian actress. Cook is best known for her role as Jennifer Jareau in CBS's crime drama Criminal Minds, where she plays a Supervisory Agent. From 2005 on, the drama has aired and is now in its thirteenth season. Cook, born in Oshawa (Canada), was interested in acting as a child. She started her acting career through a guest appearance on the TV show Goosebumps. In 1999 she debuted on the drama The Virgin Suicides. The film however was not much of a success. The following year, she was a guest in a drama show called Higher Ground. In the following years, she started to appear in the crime-drama Police Criminal Minds. This earned great success and a large following. In fact, Criminal Minds was her most significant work.
